Cristiana Grigore is a writer and research scholar based in New York. Her study of Roma portrayal in the arts has led to collaborative changes in the lexicon and nuance of artwork labels in several major museums.[1]
She is the founder and a research scholar at the Roma Peoples Project (RPP) at Columbia University, focused on highlighting Roma experiences, identity, and stigma. The project is based in the Center for Justice and aims to challenge stereotypes and foster inclusion for Roma people through research, digital archives, and public events.
