Biography

Mădălina Zaharia (*1985 in Sighetul Marmatiei, Romania), (she/her), visual artist, of Romanian ethnical background, grew up in Romania, with country of choice United Kingdom (currently lives and works in London). She was a 2023 fellow in residence at Akademie Schloss Solitude, holding a master of Royal College or Arts in 2012, London, graduated of Byam Shaw School of Art, CSM, UAL, London and University of Arts and Design, Bucharest. Her films have been included in the official selection of the BFI London Film Festival, Aesthetica Film Festival (York), Bucharest Experimental Film Festival, GRRL HAUS CINEMA (Boston and Berlin), Tourne-Films Festival Lausanne and many more.
