			After World War II, her family's silverware, library and other valuables were taken from the castle destroyed by the Germans to the family castle in Dieppe (France). Fragments of folk costumes, towels and peasant embroideries lose their initial utility in Lena Constante's collages, being charged with new aesthetic values, while preserving their authenticity.
